Lactona Duo-active disclosing liquid clearly shows where plaque is still present. The liquid gives a pink and/or purple color to the plaque. The color depends on how long the plaque is on the teeth. A pink discoloration indicates that the plaque has been present for less than 24 hours. The dark purple color indicates that the plaque has been on the teeth for more than 48 hours. This distinction provides a lot of insight into your patient's brushing behavior and contributes to his/her motivation.
Use: The liquid can be applied to the inside and outside of the elements with a cotton swab. Then have the patient rinse briefly with water once.
The dye on the elements is easy to remove with a toothbrush and toothpaste.
The disclosing liquid does not contain erythrosine and can therefore be used by people with an iodine allergy.
PH value between 6.0 and 6.4 at 20°C.
