The Lactona Plaque Indicator tablets clearly show where plaque is still present after brushing. The tablets give a pink and/or purple color to the plaque.
The color depends on how long the plaque is on the teeth. A pink discoloration indicates that the plaque has been present for less than 24 hours. The dark purple color indicates that the plaque has been on the teeth for more than 48 hours.
The tablets do not contain erythrosine, but do contain lactose. This product can therefore be used by people with an iodine allergy.
Use: Chew the tablet finely and distribute it over the teeth with the tongue. Then rinse once with water and spit it out.
PH value between 6.0 and 6.4 at 20°C.
